Whilst Eniskerry has a fully functioning kitchen, with every utensil you may require, we appreciate that you may want to venture out and experience some local food, and we certainly recommend it! Here are a list of places that we favour:
The Bell Inn
Literally, a 5 minute walk is this old english pub with a warm welcome. Open fires, home cooked food, traditional real ales, Somerset ciders, freshly ground coffee and a beer garden that looks onto masses of rolling countryside. Since 2005 The Carlton Family have held the license at the traditional coaching inn placed at the heart of the large village community within Evercreech - right around the corner from The Loves Cottage. Perfect for an evening meal or an evening drink with the locals. The pub has obtained several awards for its appearance which has been recognised by Mendip in Bloom awards - Bronze in 2008 and Silver in 2009 for 'Best Rural Pub'. The home cooked food at The Bell comes personally recommended.

The Natterjack Inn
Originally called the Railway Hotel, it was built to provide a service for the passengers at Evercreech Junction on the once very busy Somerset and Dorset line. When the line closed in 1966 the inn was aptly named The Silent Whistle. The Natterjack name came when the inn changed hands, the owner had a fond interest in the now protected Natterjack toad which is where The Natterjack came from.

The Manor House Inn
A great atmosphere and a very warm welcome are waiting for you as you arrive into flagstone floors and roaring log fires. This 17th century pub is made from the Ditcheat red brick and was originally owned by the Lord of the Manor, Edmund Dave. At this time it was called The White Heart, but by 1861 it was known as The Manor House Inn.
